Într-adevăr, unul dintre puținele titluri care au meritat să i se facă remake și, după părerea mea, cel mai bun joc de strategie din câte există, Age of Empires a făcut istorie dar nu va ieși din istorie decât o dată cu încheierea generației mele. Noile generații probabil că nu vor căuta în trecut prea mult.
În acest articol voi scoate în evidență tributul pe care îl aduce un fan pe latura muzicală: melodia de introducere eprodusă la chitară.
Și pentru a putea compara cu originalul, iată aici și melodia din joc:
În ultimele două săptămâni am vizionat patru seriale anime în urma unei selecții prelungite (cum fac de obicei). Mereu fac la fel: până încep să urmăresc un anime, caut destul de mult unul care să-mi placă, care să fie bine realizat artistic și ca poveste. Astfel, titlurile care le-am vizionat sunt în ordinea următoare:
– Love Live! School Idol Project (un anumit liceu urma să fie închis din cauza numărului mic de elevi aplicanți, până când niște eleve formează un grup muzical cu scopul de a atrage mai mulți liceeni);
– Mahou Sensou (sau Magical Warfare, care povestește despre două lumi într-una singură, magicieni și oameni, unde cei dintâi luptă între ei pentru a cuceri sau pentru a proteja pe oameni);
– Kyoukai no Kanata (unde povestea se concentrează pe un băiat și o fată, el fiind un half-shade, iar ea un spirit hunter. Amândoi considerau că sunt singuri datorită trăsăturilor lor specifice și că viața nu are nimic bun să le ofere, până când s-au întâlnit și au luptat împreună împotriva unui pericol comun);
– Kimi no Iru Machi (sau A Town Where You Live, povestea întortochiată de dragoste a unor tineri care, aș spune eu, sunt victimele propriilor sentimente și presupuneri, iar acțiunile lor nu doar că le aduc probleme, dar îi mai și rănesc pe cei apropiați).
Dintre toate, cel de-al treilea anime (Kyoukai no Kanata) este cel mai bine realizat și, deși conține foarte multe elemente fantastice, scoate în evidență niște trăsături de caractere umane bine conturate, situații dificile, un romantism graduat, realități și elemente care m-au pus într-o stare meditativă în ziua în care am terminat de vizionat serialul. Una din întrebările subliniate în anime: „Do I look like a normal person to you?”
Iar la al patrulea titlu, cel mai mult mi-a plăcut cântecul de final, care poartă același nume cu serialul (Kimi no Iu Machi – A Town Where You Live):
O altă melodie foarte frumoasă este interpretată de personajul Maki al formației μ’s din anime-ul Love Live! School Idol Project. Melodia se numește Mermaid Fiesta Vol.1:

This last month I decided to reinstall Sims 3 since I have a new CPU. I played smooth all this time, but now I got into save freezing problem again. I tried the method I learned before, but with no victory. I couldn’t save my progress because it keep saving, but actually doing nothing. So I searched into the matter again and I found THIS info which seems pretty cool and worked for me.

Sometimes, when I tried to save my game, the saving screen appears, but it looks like it’s going on forever. That’s why I wasn’t able to progress with the story. I also searched throughout the web for a patch or fix, but nothing worked. Until I found this comment below which came with a solution that made me to be able to save again:
„… I noticed in my saved game folder there is a .package file for each .nhd file. This does not exist in a new saved game (with the exception of the TravelDB.package). I moved the .package files to my desktop (again with the exception of the TravelDB.package) and ran the old saved game. My save attempt worked! I have no idea why so if you could provide me with some information on that I would greatly appreciate it. hope this helps someone else!”
Hope this note will help other simmers as it helpled me!
Am văzut acest film la cinema împreună cu familia și, pe lângă faptul că am că singurele locuri libere au fost în primul rând (n-am mai văzut vreodată un film atât de aproape) și simțeam că îmi înțepenește gâtul, în rest nu pot spune că a fost un film extraordinar; bun și interesant sunt niște termeni suficienți. Însă, ce mi-a plăcut mie, personal, cel mai mult la Jack și Uriașii a fost partea de poveste spusă în versuri. Ulterior, am căutat cuvintele pe internet, dar nu am găsit decât trailerul.
Acum că a apărut și pe torente, l-am descărcat și am scris eu cuvintele din basm. Așa că, iată povestea:

În proporție de 98% am putut reda poemul exact așa cum sună în film, excepție fiind vreo 3 cuvinte pe care nu le pot înțelege (orice ajutor este binevenit). Și încă un lucru care mi-a plăcut să întâlnesc în film a fost actorul care a avut rolul maestrului jedi Obi Wan Kenobi, din Star Wars. Tipologia lui mi se pare interesantă.

Cine își mai amintește de acei ani frumoși ai copilăriei, când ne grăbeam seara să vedem desenele noastre favorite? Desene care acum ne par primitive, dar care care erau pentru noi atunci cele mai frumoase. Nu că astăzi nu s-ar face producții de calitate, dar mă refer strict la seriale, categorie în care cele două epoci nu prea se pot compara. Cele de atunci, din anii 80 sau 90 erau mai bune pentru ceea ce ar trebui să vadă un copil, nu aiurelile din ziua de azi.
Cine nu își amintește cu drag de Captain Planet, Saber Rider, Macron 1, Voltron, Ninja Turtles, Sailor Moon, Sandy Belle și, bine-nțeles, alte titluri pe care nu mi le mai amintesc acum. Pentru că tot se apropie anul de final, iar majoritatea discuțiilor gravitează în jurul sărbătorilor de iarnă și a sfârșitului lumii (cam paradoxal, nu-i așa?), o să menționez și eu câteva noutăți care sunt mai semnificative (cel puțin pentru unii). Pentru că mica selecție este dintr-un domeniu de interes propriu, nu vă așteptați să vorbesc aici despre calendarul mayaș.
Deci, în cap de linie, este vorba despre lansearea sezonului 2 în jocul Vindictus. Acest titlu este un MMORPG gratuit (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), lansat de Nexon, care, după părerea mea, deține cea mai bună grafică în rândul jocurilor online gratuit. În momentul actual, ai la dispoziție 5 personaje (al șaselea stă la ușă) dintre care poți să-ți alegi protagonistul cu care vei parcurge povestea și pe care îl vei dezvolta după bunul plac. Prima oară când l-am jucat (adică acum un an) era cam plictisitor și l-am dezinstalat. Dar acum însă, lucrurile s-au cam schimbat și, deși am în minte imaginea proaspătă a unui RPG de calitate superioară și anume Skyrim, am simțit nevoia să reinstalez Vindictus. Iar surprizele s-au ținut lanț: am găsit mai multe personaje, mai multe opțiuni, mai multe îmbunătățiri, un nou sezon și un bonus de farmec. Este adevărat că nu ajunge la calibrul lui Guild Wars 2 (pe care cred că o să-l cumpăr până la urmă), dar pentru cine dorește să aibă parte de o experiență plăcută fără să investească bani, atunci recomand cu căldură Vindictus. Apoi avem trecerea de la utilizarea cu plată la utilizare gratuită a jocului Star Wars: The Old Republic lansat anul acesta. Se pare că după câteva luni de funcționare în metoda clasică pay2play (plătești să joci), producătorii au ales să se alinieze cu dezvoltarea masivă a pieții de jocuri online gratuite probabil pentru a face față curentului în care înaintează acest domeniu. Povestea jocului se petrece cu o mie de ani înainte de apariția legendarului Darth Vader. În urma unor războaie în care Republica și cavalerii Jedi au ieșit victorioși, s-a crezut că Imperiul Sith a fost extirpat. Însă, după un timp, aceștia apar din nou și își reiau în stăpânire planeta lor de origine, Korriban, impunându-se acum ca o nouă și amenințătoare putere în galaxie. Ca și jucător, ai de ales între cele două facțiuni: Republică și Imperiu (sau, mai bine zis, între Jedi și Sith). Povestea este mai elaborată de atât, dar nu voi mai dezvălui alte detalii. Și, să nu uităm de League of Legends, care se dezvoltă în tăcere și care a deschis un server și în română. Este tot un joc online gratuit, de strategie de data aceasta, în care ai la dispoziție diverși campioni cu care poți juca pentru a cuceri Nexus-ul (baza) inamicului. Cam atât deocamdată. Vom vedea ce ne aduce 2013, și mă refer aici în mod special la cele două titluri campioane: Tomb Raider și StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. Iar dacă nu ne mai regăsim aici prea curând: Sărbători fericite!
Let’s talk a little about the true art of gaming. Of course, this depends on everyone’s likes and favorites. But still, many gamers around the world agreed that Skyrim is a true master among games. And is not just the play, but the world, the music, the atmosphere, the story… well, everything is amazing. It seems the well known company with the biblical and historical name Bethesda, are aware of what means a real game.
The first things that impress you when you play Skyrim is the music and the multitude of graphical details. Then you’ll see they won’t stop here: as you learn that you are the long awaited and mysterious Dovahkiin (Dragonborn), the more interesting becomes the story. When I played, I felt like I would have read a book, with me as a main character. And the atmosphere of the nordic life which is present almost all the time, with the language and regions created for the game makes me belive I’m in the middle of vikings.
Ok, all high and up about this game beacause I really enjoyed it. I spent much time from my holiday to finish it, if you can say that. I actually finished the main story and a lot of side quests, but there are still many things to complete, which seems to be a never-ending game. I choosed to be an Imperial and I still fight for the liberation of Skyrim from the menace of Ulfric Stormcloack. I developed as a one-handed sword fighter with light armour (just to have more space to carry more things around).
What I want to highlight in this post is the songs and music, which is a real masterpiece. First of all, is the main theme which is played when loading the game and when you fight dragons. A real nordic spirit! So, here we go, Skyrim’s main theme, „Dovahkiin”:

„Și credința este o încredere neclintită în lucrurile nădăjduite, o puternică încredințare despre lucrurile care nu se văd.” (Evrei 11:1)
Cred că orice om este dotat cu suficientă înțelegere încât să poată recunoaște adevărul acestei afirmații. Realitatea în care trăim este independentă de credința sau încredințarea pe care fiecare dintre noi o are. Ea nu depinde de ceea ce credem sau nu credem. Că dacă ar fi așa, atunci Universul ar fi cu mult mai sărac și mai simplu decât este acum.
Azi am terminat de vizionat un serial anime în care am regăsit aceeași afirmație, formulată puțin diferit. Ousawa Akatsuki, personajul principal, un luptător aflat față în față cu un inamic mai puternic decât el, tocmai pierde posibilitatea de a-și mai folosi sabia. Cu toate acestea, el a pășit înainte pentru a continua să-și înfrunte adversarul, dar Myuu (partenera lui) încearcă să-l oprească:
Myuu: Încetează odată! E o nebunie să continui să lupți. Nici măcar nu mai ai o armă. E fără speranță! Akatsuki: Sănătate, nebunie, fără speranță sau cu speranță. Nimic din toate astea nu mai contează acum. Este ori da, ori nu. Ori ai credință, ori nu! Asta-i tot! Myuu: Dar… Akatsuki: În momentul ăsta, trebuie să ai încredere în mine. Nu poți înceta să crezi în mine, nu acum! Dacă ai credință doar în lucrurile care știi că se vor întâmpla, asta nu-i credință cu adevărat. Este acum sau niciodată. Acum trebuie să ai încredere în mine! Ai decis să rămâi cu mine, așa că… trebuie să crezi că nici eu nu voi pierde, nu aici. Ori este atât de greu să crezi în mine?
Credința NU determină un anumit lucru să existe sau să se întâmple; ci doar ne deschide ușa să putem avea legătură cu acel lucru. Împărăția lui Dumnezeu și viața veșnică nu sunt lucruri pe care le poți vedea în mod normal, dar credința face posibilă legătura noastră cu ele.
Scriu acest articol deoarece m-am cofruntat recent cu o problemă: când încercam să-mi accesez contul de Facebook, îmi era afișată o pagină care cerea securizarea contului, dar de la care nu mai puteam face nimic. Și știu că sunt multe persoane care utilizează Facebook; acest fapt este confirmat și de un sondaj realizat de Lasttorrents unde s-a pus întrebarea „care este site-ul de socializare preferat?”; din aproximativ 11500 de voturi, 83% folosesc Facebook, 5% Google+, 2% Twitter, 2% MyLife, 1% Hi5, Last.fm, LinkedIn, DevianArt și altele (sursa: http://www.lasttorrents.org/index.php).
Dar să revenim la problema principală, și anume atunci când încerci să intrați pe Facebook, vă autentificați și vă apare fereastra următoare (clic pe imagine pentru a o mări):
Acest blocaj în accesarea contului apare în urma instalării anumitor aplicații care vor afișa pe pagina de profil diverse ad-uri (un fel de imagini-reclamă sau linkuri către diverse locații „ciudate”). Aceste ad-uri nu sunt autorizate de Facebook din cauză că pot duce la spam-uri pe pagină, rularea greoaie a site-ului sau la diverse chestii neplăcute pe profilul tău. Prin urmare, contul tău este blocat atunci când acestea sunt depistate.
Teoretic, site-ul îți pune la dispoziție o soluție: să descarci gratuit McAfee antivirus, să-l instalezi și să-ți cureți calculatorul. E o șmecherie politică! Poate că ai un alt antivirus preferat cu care îți faci treaba foarte bine (în cazul meu, AVG Free-Antivirus 2012). Totuși, am fost dispus să încerc varianta oferită de ei, fapt care a eșuat, fiindcă nici măcar nu am reușit să-l instalez (probabil că intra în conflict cu antivirusul meu). Am instalat alt anti-malware, anti-spyware și ce anti mai vreți voi, dar „curățarea” lor se pare că tot nu a fost pe plac Facebook-ului.
Citind diferite comentarii prin forumuri, unde alții au ajuns la disperata situație de a-și crea un cont nou de Facebook, nu m-a luminat prea mult. Așa că mi-am îndreptat atenția asupra browser-ului. Eu folosesc Mozilla Firefox, cu ultimul update (v.13 la acea dată). Am încercat să mă loghez pe Facebook prin Internet Explorer și… surpriză! Am reușit! Deci, am început să caut prin add-on-urile și extensiile din Firefox, să identific sursa blocajului. Nimic n-a funcționat, așa că am șters complet Firefox, și l-am reinstalat (recomand să vă salvați bookmark-urile site-urilor favorite, ca să nu le mai căutați iar). Și gata! Am putut reaccesa contul celebrului Facebook.
Sper că v-a fost utilă informația, deși sper să nu aveți nevoie de ea. Spor!
Anunțam într-un articol mai vechi despre lansarea continuării jocului Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, continuare la care inițial nu mă așteptam, deoarece niciuna dintre cele două finaluri ale primei ărți nu prea lăsa loc de continuare. Și totuși, iată-l aici! Forța se dezlănțuie încă o dată, aducându-l pe protagonistul jocului în niște situații neașteptate.
Această a doua parte a producției îl readuce pe scenă pe Starkiller, ucenicul secret al întunecatului Lord Vader. După ce se trezește aflând că este o clonă, Starkiller este vânat de gânduri și viziuni, pe care maestrul său le consideră „amintiri ale unui om mort, un efect secundar al procesului de clonare”. Deși extrem de confuz, personajul se agață puternic de speranța că totul este o minciună și că au existat lucruri adevărate pentru el. În momentul critic, evadează din mâna maestrului său și de pe planeta Kamino pentru a porni în căutarea celor dragi lui pe care crede că îi are. Și într-adevăr, îl regăsește pe generalul Kota, cel care l-a învățat ce înseamnă să fi un Jedi, ce înseamnă speranța și ce înseamnă să lupți pentru o cauză bună.
După ce îl salvează pe general din situația dificilă în care se afla, pornesc împreună, dar cu scopuri diferite de această dată, către Kamino. Generalul Kota aduce rămășițele Republicii pentru a da o lovitură neașteptată Imperiului. Dar Starkiller are alt gând: el trebuie să o salveze pe Juno, cea care l-a învățat ce este dragostea și care se află acum în mâna legendarului Vader. Ajungând acolo însă, are de confruntat gânduri și viziuni malefice, situații de necrezut și nu în ultimul rând, pe fostul său maestru Darth Vader. Încă o dată se află pus în situația de a alege între calea întunecată și calea luminii.
Este un joc antrenant, captivant, destul de scurt (l-am terminat într-o noapte, cu puțin înaintea Anului Nou), cu o grafică excelentă și o atmosferă deosebită. Am parcurs fiecare capitol savurând evenimentele, simțindu-mă chiar în pielea personajului. Cu o poveste complexă ce cuprinde speranță, amăgire, eșec, dragoste, bătălii epice, prietenie și multe alte lucruri asemănătoare, este un joc pe care îl recomand oricui, fie că este fan sau nu al seriei Star Wars (eu personal nu sunt).
